But essentially, on the present go-round of the +/- story-warnings question, I agree with

ranalore in this thread and, it appears, in general.

Back when I was on a PC, I could open a .html file in Notepad and it would show me the raw code.

TextEdit is not doing this for me, and I don't know how to make it do what I want. Is there (a) a way to do this or (b) another program I should be using?

I am feeling dumb just now. :-P Thanks!
