DCfolk (or anyone who will or may be in town five - eep! - days from now), allow me to draw your attention to Bach's Matthäuspassion (St Matthew Passion), which is on at the National Cathedral this coming Sunday, February 21, at 4pm. You can buy your tickets here, but if you call the box office (202-537-2228) and identify yourself as a young professional (no, neither of these words is particularly well-defined; that's the beauty of it), you can get a discount of 20%. What's not to love?
