Today: amande cultured almond milk, blueberry flavor.
( Details for those as wants them. )Texture-wise, this reminds me immediately of traditional yogurt in that I peel back the top and find that the stuff in the carton has experienced a little separation, with a chunk of product and some liquid on top. It doesn't stir together too smoothly, but it does stir, so there's that. It's very purple in its pre-blendedness, but does also appear to have blueberries in it.
The carton notes that this item is fruit-juice sweetened, and boy howdy is it ever. This is the blueberriest of the lot, and given that it's the last non-dairy variety in the testing queue, I expect it to retain that ranking because I think the dairy yogurts - including the sheep and goat ones - will finally start to bring in some (probably quite a lot!) of the tartness I expect from my cultured milk and cultured "milk" products. This one doesn't have the strange aftertastes of the other ones, which is a plus, but it's very, very fruity, which ... could go either way. I expect I'd enjoy this and the coconut better in a vanilla flavor. The soy as well, mmmaybe. The rice I don't think I'd like at all.
Final grade: B+.
